Building on the shoulders of those before me, I rejoice in the moments when I help weave a new thread of support in my local and global community.  

Individual strands or threads are weak - but woven together the strands become a cord.  One cord is made stronger by intertwining it with two or more cords.  An individual person or organization is like a strand - by itself it is vulnerable.  But with the layering of knowledge, support, strategy, and other like-minded individuals and entities - communities are created and strengthened.  

My services are built on the concept of helping to strengthen the assets that already exist in organizations, small businesses, and individuals.  Larger projects that are highly visible can be fun.  But the work of true capacity building is often layered behind the scenes.  With over 20 years of direct and consulting experience with nonprofits, foundations, county government, and small businesses, I am committed to the development of people, leaders, systems, and policies that help service-based sustainability and growth.
